Over the course of the said event, the participants were mentored and accompanied by Ms. Maria Victoria Vite and Mr. Crisalden Mendiola, both teachers from the Junior High School Computer Department.

About the team's preparations for this year's competition, according to Ms. Vite, "For this ITCUP 2020, the Robotics Team had just prepare for a matter of 1 month only, it's been a big challenge for the whole team their availability; knowing that the two of them [are] coming from the pilot section and they have still some commitments from the other subjects."

Ms. Vite also added, "Because of that we have some delays of building up the robot, and also on practicing the challenges for the said competition. But when I saw them striving hard to prepare for this competition, I must say that they can really win and make it to the top 12."

After last year's competition, where CCC placed 11th, almost making it to the Top 10, CCC placed 8th out of the 48 schools that came to participate in this year's competition. With this, Ms. Vite stated, "Of course, I'm beyond happy because after so many years that we are joining this robotics competition, this year we made it to the finals and made it to be ranked 8th."
