Last October 4, 2019, all Cainta Catholic College teaching and non-teaching staff celebrated the World Teachers' Day. This was held at the CCC Auditorium, taking place at around 9:00 in the morning.
The celebration started with an institutional mass with Msgr. Pedro C. Cañonero, the college president, as the presider. The Masters of Ceremonies were Aaron Maye Racho and Ashley Gwen Caayon. Juliet Meyah De Leon led the opening prayer, while the Philippine National Anthem was sung by Cynthia Alyanna Eustaquio. The staff then participated in a zumba which was headed by Mrs. Dy-Am Solis, a member of the SHS faculty. This was followed by a special video presentation offered to all the Cainta Catholic College teachers.
Juliet Meyah De Leon, a student from the Senior High School Department, presented an inspirational spoken poetry entitled "Apat na Letra" , which was addressed to all the teachers. Josel Cuya, a student also from the SHS Department, prepared a special performance which followed. After that, the president of the College Department's Student Government gave his speech of gratitude to all the teachers.
Mieke Mariano, a Junior High School student, also prepared an inspirational spoken poetry entitled "Guro" . The JHS Student Government Council then distributed all the letters prepared by the JHS students for their teachers.
To conclude the event, John Paul De Leon, SHS SG President, gave the closing remarks. This was followed by the closing prayer was led by Sr. Rocelie Millorada.
The objectives of the event were to give happiness to the teachers and lessen their stress, to give them honor and acknowledgement. Meeting these objectives, the celebration was executed concretely.
